Lone Wolf Guide Service is family owned Montana outfitting operation ran by Phillip & Chelsea Bowers. We specialize in archery ELK and TROPHY MULE DEER hunts during the peak of the rut. Our base camp is located in Montana HD 590 at the southern end of the Bull Mountains. This area has provided previous clients with exceptional hunting opportunity in some of the most trophy rich habitat Montana has to offer.

Our outfitting operation is done on private land ranches located in south central Montana. The ranches leased offer my clients exclusive hunting rights for trophy big game animals including: TROPHY MULE DEER HUNTING during the rut, TROPHY BULL ELK (by permit only) with either bow or rifle, and ANTELOPE in combination with MULE DEER. Our hunting operation has produced P&Y trophy BULL ELK to 403 gross official and P&Y MULE DEER to 201 gross non-typical. In addition, our area has produced B&C MULE DEER over 200 gross and BULL ELK over 380. Antelope can be combined with MULE DEER on either of our first two fall rifle hunts.

ELK & DEER combination Licenses and DEER only Licenses for non-residents are obtained through the General Drawing with a March 15th Deadline. Rifle and Archery BULL ELK permits and ANTELOPE permits must also be drawn.

In addition, we offer UPLAND GAME BIRDS (Hungarian Partridge & Sharptail Grouse), SPRING TURKEY, and BLUE RIBBON TROUT FISHING on many famous Montana trout streams. We will gladly arrange SPRING BLACK BEAR hunts. We also run WINTER COYOTE hunts out of our base camp.

Being native Montanans, hunting is a vital part of our heritage. It is or intention to work on your behalf to protect this right in any way we can. I’m an active member of the Montana Outfitters and Guides Association- MOGA and I’ am a 2010 & 2011 hunt donor and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation RMEF member.
