About Lone Wolf Guide Service

Lone Wolf Guide Service is a family owned Montana outfitting operation ran by Phillip & Chelsea Bowers. We specialize in ELK and TROPHY MULE DEER hunts during the peak of the rut. We also do service work.

Trail Camera Gallery

Lone Wolf Guide Service uses numerous trail cameras to monitor trail traffic, track game migrations, and, of course, capture the monster bucks and bulls at their favorite ‘watering hole’. New photos will be added as we collect them, keep an eye out for the latest stealth images.

Hunting Packages

Whether you’re seeking the elusive monster mule deer or that bull elk, Lone Wolf Guide Service can offer you and your party that opportunity. With the experience, knowledge and access to pristine territory we offer, there’s sure to be a hunt package to fit your dream.

Trophy Gallery

Though most of our individual hunt pages contain a gallery of fantastic trophies, here we’ve collected some of our favorites. New images will be uploaded as they come in, including photos from our many successful hunts.

Welcome to Lone Wolf Guide Service, owned and operated by Phillip & Chelsea Bowers, MT Licensed Outfitter #6049. Being native Montanans, hunting is a vital part of our heritage. Phillip was raised in the outfitting business next to the Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness and is a second generation Montana Outfitter. Making their home in the small town of Livingston, Montana north of Yellowstone National Park and running their outfitting operation on private land ranches across south central Montana.

At the end of our 2014 archery season Phillip was in a horrible truck accident. He spent a month in a Billings MT hospital not knowing if he was going to guide again. Chelsea and the other guides carried on the 2014 rifle season for Phillip. Not knowing the recovery timeline we scaled way back during the 2015 season while Phillip continued to recover. Praise the Lord we are back on track for the 2016 Seasons and would like to thank everyone for your patience, and whoever has helped in anyway through out this process.

Due to several new laws voted in at the end of 2010, it will be important for you review the updated hunting regulations for the State of Montana.
